Abstract: Effect of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate as frother, sodium alginate as stabilizer and experimental conditions on foam properties were analyzed, and then all factors probably having influence on foam dyeing were considered. The experiments were carried out through orthogonal design, and the foam dyeing process suitable for light and dark dyeing was obtained, the fabric samples with one-side dyed were got through controlling experimental conditions. The elementary explorations show great significance on application of foam dyeing to practical production.
