In this paper, the removal of Cr (VI) from groundwater using zero-valent iron was observed, and influencing factors such as Cr(VI) initial concentration, solution flow and pH value was studied. Let hexavalent chromium solution pass the column filled with a certain amount of ZVI, and the effects of removal were observed when the initial Cr(VI) concentration was 40, 60 and 80mg/L, pH value was 3 and 6, solution flow was 2,3 and 4mL/min. The results indicate that Cr(VI) could be removed effectively with ZVI ,and the removal efficiency of the sample port 2, 3and 4 are above 99%. The increasing of Cr(VI) initial concentration or the rising of solution flow can make the effects of removal descent, while the decreasing of pH value promotes the removal of Cr(VI).
