Abstract: This paper describes the commercial software FLUENT widely used in computational fluid dynamics and discusses the feasibility of direct combination between the FLUENT and teaching. Trial teaching practice shows that comparing to traditional classroom teaching, this method can further stimulate students’ interest in computational fluid dynamics and deepen students’ understanding on the basic theory and practical engineering applications, consequently improve the quality of teaching.
