Abstract: Time-series events appear in chronological order , and they offer an essential hypothesis for cause-effect correlation analysis. The traditional strict matching algorithm brings decision-making errors. This paper presents a fuzzy correlation method based on attribute similarity. The proposed algorithm describes the matching degree of attributes by fuzzy value, and describes the attributes unmatched by fuzzy value quantitatively. The effectiveness of the method is proved by using DOS attack.
