Abstract: In Micro-cellular Mobile Communication Systems, the path loss exponent and standard deviation are two important parameters which should be estimated by some measurements. In this paper, according to the wireless signal measured data in indoor underground parking, these parameters can be obtained by using the Cumulative-sum Method based on the Log-normal Shadow Model. And then, by simulating the Cumulative- sum algorithm and comparing the proposed algorithm with the three others—the Maximum Likelihood Estimating Method (MLE), the Linear Regression Analysis Method and the Minimum Mean Square Error Method (MMSE) under the software MATLAB. The results show that the Cumulative-sum Method is better than the other three methods.
