Abstract: In this paper,we have introduced the characteristics of the TinyOS. Then have analyzed the characteristics and differences between flooding protocol and gossiping protocol. And used the Tossim of TinyOS simulator, have run NesC programming language procedures based on flooding and gossiping protocol. Finally analyzed the results of the simulation test, have reached some more meaningful conclusions.
