Abstract: In order to resist multi-path interference and improve the quality of communication channels in a complex communication environment, link adaptation technique is used in WLAN communication system. Adaptive decision algorithm about signal to noise ratio (SNR) for sub-channel in MIMO-OFDMA communication system is derived. Through the simulation of different physical layer mode, the relationship between BER and SNR is described. The results show that under certain BER fluctuation, different adaptive strategy can be used to effectively improve the system throughput and greatly save the system spectrum resource according to SNR decision threshold.
