Abstract: In order to improve the throughput under noisy channel of wireless LAN, A-MSDU and A-MPDU aggregation in IEEE802.11n was analyzed, and a new physical layer super-frame technology was put forward. Under noisy channel, the DCF saturation throughput was derived and the impact of frame length on the throughput was discussed. The results show that there exists an optimal aggregation method under a certain bit error rate (BER) to achieve the maximum system throughput. Compared to the fixed frame, variable frame can effectively improve the throughput.
