Abstract: In the last several years, IEEE 802.16 became the most popular wireless access technology, which is design with high data rate and support mobility in mind. In order to analysis the capacity of BS (Base-Station) serving online, a PMP (Point-to-multipoint) WiMAX module developed based on popular network simulator ns-2, is used. Results indicate that BS can support almost ten users for Real-time Video which PSNR reach 28 and twenty users for VOIP which MOS reach 3.
