Abstract: One method that can achieve the LAN video collection and transmission based on the embedded technology included the μClinux system and FPGA technology is introduced in this article. This SOPC system which is established to carry out the method is consisted of image collection mould, CPU and network transmission mould. The main job that transmits and receives the image data is achieved by the embedded operating system running on NiosII processor and UDP protocol used for network programming. Through the mature network controlling by embedded operating system, image data and control signal captured in FPGA can be easily transferred to Local network and the whole control becomes more efficient。This system has extensive application and perspective.
