Special Issue on Environmental Geology and Geochemistry
Environmental geology is
a discipline that studies the interaction between human activities and the
geological environment. The research contents of environmental geology include
environmental geological problems caused by nature and human. As natural disasters
become more and more serious, human knowledge and research on the geological
environment have advanced to a new level, indicating that we must study both
the impact of the geological environment on people and the role of people on
the geological environment. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Environmental
Geology and Geochemistry.
In this special issue,
we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original
research and review articles on exploring Environmental Geology and
Geochemistry. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Aqueous geochemistry
-
Biogeochemistry
-
Cosmochemistry
-
Organic geochemistry
-
Regional geochemistry
-
Hydrogeochemistry, surface and groundwater
-
Trace metals in the ocean
-
Defining and mitigating exposure of natural hazards on humans
-
Assessment methods in environmental geology
Authors should read over
the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify
the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special
Issue - Environmental Geology and Geochemistry” should be selected
during your submission.
