Special Issue on Thrombosis Research

Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel, obstructing the flow of blood through the circulatory system. When a blood vessel  is injured, the body uses platelets  and fibrin to form a blood clot to prevent blood loss. Even when a blood vessel is not injured, blood clots may form in the body under certain conditions. A clot, or a piece of the clot, that breaks free and begins to travel around the body is known as an embolus.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Thrombosis Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Causes and mechanism
• Treatment and prevention
• Thromboembolism and thrombophilia
• Deep vein thrombosis
• Pulmonary embolism
• Venous thrombosis
• Coronary thrombosis
• Thrombolysis
• Cancer associated thrombosis
• Antiphospholipid syndrome
• Anticoagulant therapy

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Thrombosis Research” should be chosen during your submission.
