Special Issue on Bacteria, Viruses and Food Sciences


Bacteria and viruses are common microorganisms that inhibit, create, or contaminate food, causing food spoilage, pathogens that may cause diseases.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Bacteria, Viruses and Food Sciences. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Food spoilage and contamination
  • Food processing and technology
  • Food poisoning
  • Salmonella, Escherichia Coli and food safety
  • Pathogens and infections
  • Foodborne viruses and illness
  • Fermentation technology
  • Microbiological methods
  • Food microbiology and microorganisms
  • Antimicrobial researches

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Bacteria, Viruses and Food Sciences” should be chosen during your submission.
