Special Issue on Linear Programming

Linear programming is a method to achieve the best outcome in a mathematical model whose requirements are represented by linear relationships. It is widely used in mathematics, and to a lesser extent in business, economics, and for some engineering problems. Industries that use linear programming models include transportation, energy, telecommunications, and manufacturing. It has proven useful in modeling diverse types of problems in planning, routing, scheduling, assignment, and design.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Linear Programming. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Mathematical optimization
• Approximation algorithms
• Optimizing a linear function
• Existence of optimal solutions
• Basis exchange algorithms
• Integral linear programs
• Cost function and optimization
• Objective function and assignment problem
• Linear programming models in business and industries

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Linear Programming” should be chosen during your submission.
