Special issue on Fibrosis Treatment
Call for Papers
Fibrosis is the formation of excess fibrous connective tissue in an organ or tissue in a reparative or reactive process. This is as opposed to formation of fibrous tissue as a normal constituent of an organ or tissue. Scarring is confluent fibrosis that obliterates the architecture of the underlying organ or tissue. There are many types of fibrosis, such as Cystic fibrosis, Cirrhosis , Endomyocardial fibrosis, Myelofibrosis, Nephrogenic systemic fibrosis and so on. The methods used for fibrosis treatment have improved greatly in recent years. Common forms of treatment in use today include antibiotics, exercise. The main goals of treatment are to prevent and control infections, relieve symptoms of the disease as much as possible and slow down its progression.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Fibrosis Treatment.
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper Submission System.
