Special Issue on Transition Metal Catalysis
The
transition metals are the group of metals in the middle section of the periodic
table. The outermost d orbitals of transition metal ions are incompletely
filled with electrons so they can easily lend electrons or withdraw electrons
from the reagent. The ability of transition metals to be in a variety of
oxidation states, the ability to interchange between the oxidation states and
the ability to form complexes with the reagents and be a good source for
electrons make transition metals good catalysts.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Transition Metal Catalysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Transition metal catalyzed reactions
-
Transition metal complexes
-
Methodologies of transition metal catalysis
-
Mechanisms of transition metal catalysis
-
Properties of transition metal catalysts
-
Separation/recycling for homogeneous transition
metal catalysts
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Transition
Metal Catalysis” should be selected during your submission.
