Special Issue on Environment and Anti-corrosion Research

Corrosion is the gradual destruction of materials by chemical reaction with its environment. Cost effective corrosion protection of structural steelwork should present little difficulty for common applications and environments if the factors that affect durability are recognised at the outset. As we have seen, corrosion is a wide ranging problem that is obviously best considered during the design stage. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of environment and anti-corrosion research.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring environment and anti-corrosion research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Corrosion prevention techniques
• Protective coatings
• Barrier Protection
• Environmental Modification
• Metal Selection and Surface Conditions
• Corrosion Inhibitors
• Plating
• Active corrosion protection
• Permanent corrosion protection
• Anti-corrosion evaluation

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Environment and Anti-corrosion” should be selected during your submission.
