Special Issue on Burns and Scalds
Burns and scalds are among the most
common causes of serious injury among children. A burn is a type of injury to skin
or flesh caused by heat, electricity, chemicals, friction, or radiation while a scald is caused by
something wet, such as hot water or steam. As one of the most important research fields
of health and disease, burns and scalds are of great attractions to researchers.
In
this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles that explore burns and scalds. Potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Cause of burns and scalds
-
Diagnosis of burns and scalds
-
Signs and symptoms
-
Pathophysiology of burns and scalds
-
Prevention of burns and scalds
-
Management of burns and scalds
Authors should read over
the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue’’ under your manuscript title is supposed to be
specified and the research field “Special Issue - Burns and Scalds” should be chosen during your submission.
