Aquatic Plants are plants that have adapted to living in saltwater or
freshwater. Aquatic plants are excellent “swimmers” or “divers”,they have special adaptation mechanisms for aquatic
environments, such as aerenchyma, floating leaves, finely dissected
leaves and so on. As an important component of ecosystem, they make a great
contribution to the stability of aquatic ecosystem. This special issue is concerned
with fundamental studies and applied research on aquatic plants.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on
exploring aquatic plant. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Plant-dominated aquatic systems
-
Molecular
-
Biochemistry
-
Physiology
-
Aquatic plant production and decomposition
-
Conservation of resources
-
Use of aquatic plants
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
