Special Issue on Platelets
Platelets, also called "thrombocytes",
are blood cells whose main function is to contribute to hemostasis. Adhesion,
activation and aggregation are the main process of stopping bleeding. Abnormal
platelets function may cause blood disorders. Low platelet concentration cause
thrombocytopenia. Elevated platelet concentration leads to thrombocytosis. A
disorder of platelet function is a thrombocytopathy.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers
and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring platelets. Potential topics include,
but are not limited to:
-
Platelets function
-
Platelets adhesion
-
Platelets activation
-
Platelets aggregation
-
Platelets
disorders
-
Platelets

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission
