Special Issue on Photonic Crystal Research
Photonics describes a technology whereby data transmission and processing occurs largely or entirely by means of photons. Photonic crystals are microstructured materials in which the dielectric constant is periodically modulated on a length scale comparable to the desired wavelength of operation. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of photonic crystal research.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring photonic crystal research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
One-dimensional photonic crystal
-
Two-dimensional photonic crystals
-
Three-dimensional photonic crystals
-
Photonic crystal preparation
-
Photonic crystal applications
-
Photonic crystal fiber
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Photonic Crystal Research” should be chosen during your submission.
