Special Issue on Vascular Plants

This special issue on Vascular Plants will be focusing on the latest development in vascular plants. Vascular plants are a large group of plants that are defined as those land plants that have lignified tissues (the xylem) for conducting water and minerals throughout the plant. Vascular plants also have a specialized non-lignified tissue (the phloem) to conduct products of photosynthesis. Vascular plants include the clubmosses, horsetails, ferns, gymnosperms (including conifers) and angiosperms (flowering plants). As one of the most important research fields of plant research, vascular plants are of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring vascular plants. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Vascular tissues
  • Species of vascular plants
  • Phylogeny of vascular plants
  • Phloem sieve tube elements
  • Lignified tissue

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the Special Issueunder your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Vascular Plants” should be chosen during your submission.
