Special Issue on Air Quality, Atmosphere & Health
The health effects of air pollution are
serious – one third of deaths from stroke, lung cancer and heart disease are
due to air pollution. Air pollution is hard to escape, no matter how rich an
area you live in. It is all around us. Microscopic pollutants in the air can
slip past our body’s defences, penetrating deep into our respiratory and
circulatory system, damaging our lungs, heart and brain. The goal
of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians
all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and
developments in this area of Air Quality,
Atmosphere & Health.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on
exploring Air Quality,
Atmosphere & Health. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Air quality monitoring and management
-
Exposure and risk assessment
