Special Issue on Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Pediatric Infectious Diseases is a specialized field
of medicine focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infections
in children, from newborns to adolescents. This includes a wide range of
conditions caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites. These diseases
can be more complex in children due to their developing immune systems and
unique exposure risks. Pediatric infectious disease specialists are experts in
managing infections that are more common in children, are particularly severe,
or have complex treatment needs, including vaccinations and the prevention of
disease spread in both hospital and community settings.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
