Special Issue on Bacteriology
Bacteriology
is the study of bacteria, their characteristics, interactions, and impact on
various ecosystems, including human health. This academic discipline explores
the morphology, physiology, genetics, and ecology of bacteria, aiming to
understand their roles in disease causation, biotechnological applications, and
environmental processes. Bacteriologists employ a range of techniques, from
microscopy and culturing to genetic analysis, to investigate these microorganisms
and their potential benefits and hazards.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Bacteriology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Microbial ecology
-
Pathogenic bacteriology
-
Bacterial virology
-
Bacteriology and public health
-
Environmental bacteriology
-
Industrial bacteriology
-
Applied bacteriology in agriculture
-
Antimicrobial resistance
-
Bacterial genomics and genetics
-
Bacterial physiology and metabolism
-
Bacterial morphology and structure
-
Bacterial taxonomy and classification
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Bacteriology” should be chosen during your submission.
