Special Issue on Flood Risk Management
Flood
risk management involves the comprehensive approach to reducing the potential
for flood disasters and mitigating their impacts. It encompasses activities
such as assessing flood hazards, developing prevention and mitigation
strategies, creating early warning systems, and planning for emergency response
and recovery. Effective flood risk management requires a multi-disciplinary
approach, involving collaboration between government agencies, communities, and
experts in various fields to ensure sustainable and resilient solutions are
implemented. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in the area of Flood Risk Management.
