Special Issue on Cardiovascular Diseases and Risk Factors

Cardiovascular Diseases are a group of conditions affecting the heart and blood vessels, including heart attacks and strokes. These diseases are often linked to modifiable risk factors, such as smoking, unhealthy diet, and sedentary lifestyle. High blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol are also significant contributors. Preventing and managing these risk factors is crucial for maintaining cardiovascular health. Lifestyle modifications, regular exercise, and medication can help reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, promoting a healthier lifestyle.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Cardiovascular Diseases and Risk Factors. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases
• Genetic and molecular epidemiology
• Pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases
• Risk factor assessment and management
• Prevention and lifestyle interventions
• Cardiovascular imaging and diagnostics

• Cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention
• Cardiovascular pharmacology
• Cardiovascular health promotion
• Non-modifiable risk factors

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
