Special Issue on Applied and Environmental Microbiology
"Applied
and Environmental Microbiology" is a field that explores the roles,
functions, and applications of microorganisms in environmental contexts and
biotechnological processes. It investigates how bacteria, viruses, fungi, and
protists interact with their environments, impact ecosystems, and can be
harnessed for environmental remediation, waste treatment, sustainable
agriculture, and the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, and other
valuable products. This multidisciplinary approach aims to solve environmental
challenges and promote a sustainable future.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Applied and Environmental Microbiology. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
