Special Issue on GIS & Geographic Analysis
GIS is
a computer-based system that is used to collect, store, manipulate, analyze,
and display data that has a geographic or spatial component. Geographic
analysis is the use of GIS to understand and interpret geographic data. This
can involve examining patterns and relationships between different geographic
features, identifying trends over time, or predicting future scenarios based on
different sets of assumptions. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of GIS and
Geographic Analysis.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring GIS & Geographic Analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Spatial data management and analysis
-
Spatial analysis: concepts and techniques
-
GIS for natural resource management
-
GIS for urban planning and management
-
GIS for environmental studies
-
