Special Issue on Disability Studies
Disability Studies critically examines
disability as a social, cultural, and political phenomenon. It encompasses the
study of disability from various perspectives, including social, historical,
cultural, and legal dimensions. Disability Studies challenges traditional
medical models that view disability solely as an individual impairment and
instead focuses on understanding the social and environmental barriers that
create disability. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in the area of Disability Studies.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
