Special Issue on Gender and Women’s Studies

Gender and Women's Studies examines how the lives of individuals are shaped by broader structural forces in both historical and contemporary contexts. It investigates how the gender interacts with race, ethnicity, class and sexuality to condition human consciousness and to shape the social, political and cultural organization of human societies. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Gender and Women’s Studies.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Gender and Women’s Studies. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Gender and health
• Gender and politics
• Gender and violence
• Gender and work
• Gender, women and sexuality
• Gender equality
• Psychology of women
• Sexual and gender identities
• Women, citizenship and conflict
• Violence against women
• Feminist and gender economics
• Feminist cultural activism

• Feminist theory

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Gender and Women’s Studies” should be selected during your submission.
