Special Issue on Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine focuses on the use of plant-based remedies in the treatment and prevention of disease. This field encompasses the study of the active compounds found in medicinal plants, their effects on the body, and their potential clinical applications. Herbal medicine includes the use of herbal supplements, teas, tinctures, and other natural products that are derived from plant sources. Researchers in this field may investigate the biological activity of specific compounds found in medicinal plants, as well as the safety and efficacy of herbal remedies for various health conditions. Some specific topics within herbal medicine research include the effects of herbs on the immune system, the use of herbal remedies for managing chronic pain, and the use of herbs for mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. The goal of herbal medicine research is to develop evidence-based natural therapies that can be used in conjunction with or as alternatives to conventional medicine.

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
