Special Issue on Baby Food
Baby Food provides the energy and nutrients that babies need to be healthy. It is any soft, easily consumed food, and for a baby, breast milk is best. It has all the necessary vitamins and minerals. But also infant formula will provide adequate nutrition for them whose mothers are not able or decide not to breastfeed. The goal of baby nutrition is to promote optimal growth and development by providing a variety of nutritious foods. Babies need to be gradually exposed to a variety of tastes and textures geared to their developmental level. For that babies have their own unique nutritional and developmental needs, baby food are always of great interest to researchers.
