Special Issue on Heat Treating of Materials
Heat Treating is a series of industrial and metalworking treatments applied to improve the requisite properties of materials. It involves the processes of heating and chilling, and the course of either influence the properties of material greatly. According to the effects of the process on materials, we can design appropriate heat treatments for different materials with different applications. Sometimes, heat treating alters the performance of material greatly. So, heat treatment is of great significance in the development of materials, and it is worth investigating.
This special issue aims at providing a platform for scientists and academics all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of heat treating of materials. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Heating process design of materials
-
Particular heat treatment of materials
-
Influence of different heat treating on the same materials
-
Heat treating of particular material
-
Metallurgical application of heat treating
-
Heat treating applied in the research of material life span
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Heat Treating of Materials’’ should be chosen during your submission.
