Special Issue on Midwifery Research

This special issue on “Midwifery Research” will be focusing on the latest development in midwifery. Midwifery is a branch of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a health care profession in which providers offer care to childbearing women during pregnancy, labor and birth, during the postpartum period, and between pregnancies. Practitioners of midwifery is known as midwives, they help care for the newborn and assist the mother with breastfeeding and also provide birth control, education and prescriptions for well-woman health care as well. As one of the most important research fields of human health, midwifery research is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring midwifery research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Health care profession
• Well-woman health care
• Care for the newborn
• Postnatal care
• Antenatal care
• Maternity care
  

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
