Special Issue on Survival Analysis

Survival Analysis is a method based on the data obtained from experiments or surveys; it is used to analyze and infer the biological or human survival time, and study the relationship between survival time and many influencing factors. Survival analysis involves some timing indicators such as the healing of the disease, death, organ growth and so on. Some studies are not correlated to survival but also could use the methods in survival analysis. Survival analysis plays a significant role in many fields, for example, biology, medicine, insurance, reliability engineering, sociology, economics, etc. This special issue will be focusing on studying different methods of survival analysis and discussing its practical applications.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring survival analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Nonparametric estimation about the essential characteristics of right and left censored data
• Univariate kernel smoothing estimation method
• Nonparametric hypothesis testing
• Fixed covariates semi-parametric proportional hazards regression
• Additive hazards regression model
• Goodness of fit test in survival analysis

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
