Special Issue on Computer Vision  

This special issue on “Computer Vision” will be focusing on the latest approaches and ideas about theories and applications about computer vision. Computer vision, as one of the most promising fields in AI (Artificial Intelligence), seeks to develop algorithms to duplicate the abilities of human vision by electronically perceiving and understanding an image. Being a very important and efficient route to understanding human intelligence, computer vision attracts lots of academics, industrial researchers, as well as practitioners to devote themselves to the research of this field.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring computer vision. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Physics-based vision
• Biologically motivated vision
• 3D shape recovery
• 2D/3D object detection and recognition
• Scene understanding
• Image based modeling
• Vision sensors
• Reconstruction and camera motion estimation
• Information visualization
• Video analysis

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Computer Vision” should be chosen during your submission.
