 Special Issue on Fuzzy Mathematics

Fuzzy Mathematics is collectively known as the mathematical fields (fuzzy topology, fuzzy measure theory, etc.) which are developed on the basis of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. It is a mathematical tool which is used to study fuzzy problems in the real world, and it has been widely used in pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, fuzzy cluster analysis, and so on. Modern mathematics is built on the basis of set theory. Processing fuzzy mathematics is the extension from classical set theory to fuzzy set theory. Nowadays the mainstream development of fuzzy mathematics is its application. This special issue will be focusing on the basic principles of fuzzy mathematics, furthermore, studying the practical applications of it.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring fuzzy mathematics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Fuzzy measure theory
  • Fuzzy subalgebra
  • Monoidal t-norm logic
  • Possibility theory
  • T-norm
  • Fuzzy topology
  • Fuzzy pattern recognition

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Fuzzy Mathematics” should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:
