Special Issue on Solid Phase Extraction Technology

Solid-Phase Extraction (SPE) is a separation process by which compounds that are dissolved or suspended in a liquid mixture are separated from other compounds in the mixture according to their physical and chemical properties. Analytical laboratories use solid phase extraction to concentrate and purify samples for analysis. Solid phase extraction can be used to isolate analytes of interest from a wide variety of matrices, including urine, blood, water, beverages, soil, and animal tissue.

In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore solid phase extraction technology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Normal phase SPE procedure
  • Reversed phase SPE
  • Ion exchange SPE
  • Application of solid phase extraction
  • Cation exchange
  • Anion exchange

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Solid Phase Extraction Technology” should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:

Submission Deadline

April 29th, 2014

Publication Date

June 2014
