Special Issue on Advances in the Inverse Problems
Inverse Problems are some of the most important and well-studied mathematical problems in science and mathematics which contains many branches of science and mathematics, including computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning, statistics, statistical inference, geophysics, medical imaging, remote sensing, ocean acoustic tomography, nondestructive testing, astronomy, physics and many other fields. In the research of the inverse problems, the Inverse modeling is an important and necessary key step in many physical applications. Inverse problems are inherently driven by applications and they arise in many practical situations when difficulties are experienced in producing, measuring or interpreting various causal features of a physical phenomenon.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore advances in the inverse problems. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Inverse problems theory and methods for model parameter
-
Inverse modeling
-
Linear and non-linear inverse problems
-
Inverse problems and imaging
-
Inverse problems in mathematics
-
Inverse problems in physical applications
-
Inverse problems in engineering
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Advances in the Inverse Problem” should be chosen during your submission.
