Special Issue on Thermogravimetric Analysis
Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) measures changes
in weight of a sample with increasing temperature. Measurements are used
primarily to determine the composition of materials and to predict their thermal
and oxidative stability. Also the technique is used to estimate the lifetime of
a product, decomposition kinetics, moisture/volatile content, melting point,
glass transition, heat capacity, crystallinity and purity. The goal of this
special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over
the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
this area of thermogravimetric
analysis .
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring thermogravimetric analysis . In this special issue,
potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
TGA analysis or thermogravimetry
-
Applications of TGA analysis or thermogravimetry
-
Thermal stability
-
Oxidation and combustion
-
Thermogravimetric kinetics
-
Types of thermal gravimetric analysis
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special
Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Thermogravimetric Analysis ” should be selected during your
submission.
