Special Issue on Coronary Artery Disease

Coronary artery disease involves the reduction of blood flow to the heart muscle due to build up of plaque in the arteries of the heart. It is the most common of the cardiovascular diseases. Types include stable angina, unstable angina, myocardial infarction, and sudden cardiac death.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Coronary Artery Disease. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Coronary heart disease
• Stable angina and unstable angina
• Cardiovascular interventions
• Pathophysiology and epidemiology
• Diagnosis and treatment
• Surgical approaches
• Complications
• Prevention and control
• Mortality and causes of death
• Risk factors

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Coronary Artery Disease” should be chosen during your submission.
