    Special Issue on Public Health Nutrition Initiatives

    Public health nutrition is an area of concentration emphasizing the application of food and nutrition knowledge, policy and research to the improvement of the population health. It focuses on the promotion of good health through nutrition and the primary prevention of nutrition related illness in the population. The aim for those working as public health nutritionists is for everyone to achieve greater health and well-being by making healthier food and nutrition-related choices.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring public health nutrition initiatives. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Nutrition science and principles
    • Nutrition and food hygiene
    • Diet and chronic disease prevention
    • Medical nutrition
    • Global nutrition
    • Maternity and child nutrition
    • Nutrition Survey and Monitoring
    • Dietary structure and nutrition education
    • Diet, nutrition and health

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Public Health Nutrition Initiatives” should be chosen during your submission.
