    Special Issue on Structural Geology

Structural geology is mainly concerned with the form, scale, forming condition, genetic mechanism, distribution law and evolution history of various geological structures. Such as folds, faults, joints, which are formed by the action of internal forces. The geological structures in the lithosphere can be divided into different scales and different levels. The scientific research and the methods have certain difference, but must focus on the overall global geological evolution and the formation of specific environment combination. The structural geology emphasizes the field observation, and the precision of the study increases rapidly with the development of science and technology. In the future, the scope and field of geological observation and research will be expanded.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring structural geology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Continental margin tectonics
    • Solid geochemistry
    • Basin structure analysis
    • Tectonic deformation
    • Plate motion
    • Tectonic landform
    • Structural seismology
    • Central orogenic belt structure

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Structural Geology” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    January 15th, 2020

    Publication Date
