    Special Issue on Stroke and Relative Health Issues


    A stroke is a medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death.There are two main types of stroke: ischemic, due to lack of blood flow, and hemorrhagic, due to bleeding. Both result in parts of the brain not functioning properly.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Stroke and Relative Health Issues. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Neurological disorders and stroke
    • heart diseases, cardiovascular health and stroke
    • Stroke and atherosclerosis
    • Stroke and myocardial infarction
    • Ischemic stroke
    • Brain function and stroke
    • Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease
    • Pathophysiology, therapy and treatment
    • Risk factors and prevention

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Stroke and Relative Health Issues should be chosen during your submission.
