Special Issue on Criminal Law Research

Crime, criminal responsibility and penalty are three basic categories of criminal law. The relationship among them is that crime decides criminal responsibility and criminal responsibility decides penalty. The purpose of criminal law is to protect life, body, property, and other related legal interests, and to punish violations of norms and violations or threats of these laws. Unlike the civil law which attaches importance to private compensation for damages, criminal law is a law that judges what is a crime and punishes criminal acts.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring criminal law research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Criminal justice system
    • Criminal procedure
    • Confirmation of criminal responsibility
    • Criminal penalty
    • Crime prevention
    • Law enforcement
    • Criminal laws
    • Criminal justice and criminology

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Criminal Law Research” should be chosen during your submission.
