In finance, a derivative is a contract that derives its value from the performance of an underlying entity. Derivatives can be used for a number of purposes, including insuring against price movements, increasing exposure to price movements for speculation or getting access to otherwise hard-to-trade assets or markets.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Derivatives and Financial Markets. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Hedging and accounting
    • Pricing and modeling
    • Futures and options market
    • Economic function of the derivative market
    • Interest rate and risk measures
    • Value-at-risk models
    • Capital market analysis
    • Computational/mathematical finance

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Derivatives and Financial Markets” should be chosen during your submission.
