Special Issue on Infrared Spectroscopy and Its Applications

Infrared spectroscopy has been applied to the characterization of molecules. Conventional dispersive infrared spectrometers have been replaced by Fourier-transform infrared equipment, which incorporates a Michelson interferometer and presents a series of advantages over dispersive systems, such as an improvement of energy and the simultaneous measurement of the whole spectral range. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of infrared spectroscopy and its applications .

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring infrared spectroscopy and its applications. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy
    • Sample preparation
    • Quantitative analysis
    • Infrared spectra analysis
    • Infrared spectrum characteristic peaks
    • Infrared absorption spectroscopy
    • Application of infrared spectroscopy

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Infrared Spectroscopy and Its Applications ” should be selected during your submission.
