    Special Issue on Food Safety and Health

    There are many kinds of chemical components in natural food, and human factors make the chemical substances in food more complex. It is impossible to require absolute safety of food, only to minimize the presence of harmful substances in food or eliminate harmful factors that can be eliminated. Under the existing detection methods and conditions, we strive to minimize any possible risks and scientifically protect the interests of consumers. Relativity of food safety means that a food or ingredient will not cause health damage under the premise of reasonable consumption and normal consumption. Food safety is not only related to public health, but also related to social economy, food production and so on. Ensuring food safety is a systematic project which requires the participation of government, enterprises and consumers.

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring food safety and health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Hygienic design of food factories
    • Food safety risk warning
    • Food safety management
    • Food nutrition and health
    • Food microbe testing
    • Health food and green food
    • Food raw material supply
    • Food processing, store and selling
    • Food packaging and identifying
    • Food additives

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Food Safety and Health” should be chosen during your submission.
