Special Issue on Computer Vision and Image

Computer vision is a field that includes methods for acquiring, processing, analyzing, and understanding images. The study object is mainly three-dimensional scene mapped to single or multiple images, such as reconstruction of three-dimensional scene. In general, high-dimensional data from the real world is in order to produce numerical or symbolic information. Computer vision and image are important and fast evolving areas of computer science, and have been applied in many disciplines such as biomedicine, mobility, safety, production, society, media, etc.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring computer vision and image. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • 3D imaging and modelling
    • Intelligent vision systems
    • Color image processing
    • Visual tracking
    • Computer vision and robotics
    • Facial behavior analysis
    • Computer imagery
    • Biomedical image analysis
    • Machine vision
    • Image and video understanding in big data

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Computer Vision and Image” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:
